Bonjour, je m’appelle Véronique!

As a Toronto-based language educator for over 10 years, I understand the challenges of developing and maintaining French proficiency outside of French-speaking communities.

As a proud native of the Greater Toronto Area, I grew up in a bilingual household, with Québécois and Jamaican roots. I love to share my interest in language-learning with an approach that moves beyond traditional, rigid (and booring!) methods that are often unsustainable.

I completed my education entirely in French, from elementary school through university. Since obtaining my undergraduate degree from l’Université d’Ottawa (ON), I have worked as in various professional environments in French, as both an self-employed educator/tutor and federal public servant for Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). My journey also continues in 2026, as I will be studying part-time as a french linguistics student at l’Université Laval (QC) !
